teaching philosophy
Yoga is for all bodies, regardless of age, gender, size, and mobility. Yoga is more than physical postures (Asana); it is a multidimensional practice and philosophy that supports reflecting inward in order to express outward in life. Yoga is not innately religious and [my teaching] will not include any religious doctrines. Yoga is a way to connect with your higher power, be it God, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, et al.; it is through movement [and stillness] that participants find the quiet for prayer and reverence. Yoga is being in the present moment; mind-body-soul.
